Kiteboarding with Extreme Control in Tulum
We at Extreme Control are pleased to say that our last season in Tulum Mexico was a great success,
with a lot of students, great downwinder tours to Sian Kaan Biosphere Reserve and Boca Paila, great road trips to Isla Blanca, Telchac, Holbox, Cozumel and many other kitesurfing spots in the Yucatan Peninsula.
After 5+ years of experience in teaching kiteboarding in Tulum we have been very lucky to have met many great people from around the world that have shared our passion for Kiteboarding with us.
We are happy to announce our news for the next season . After 5 years of experience in teaching kiteboarding Extreme Control is still running the first Kite Surfing Center of Riviera Maya situated right on the kiteboarding spot in the beautiful Playa Azul Hotel and Beach Club and as well at El Paraiso in Tulum
You can come here with your family having a beautiful day of your holiday kiting and realaxing at the same time.We created a friendly and fun atmosphere here in Playa Azul for all of our kiters clients and for sure for our great local friends .
We will be really happy to have you learn the Art of Kiteboarding with our team.
All our instructors are multilingual, we offer any level of lesson in English, Spanish, Italian and French, all of us are expert kiteboarders with over 3 to 5 years experience of teaching and riding, we teach what we love.
Intro Kiteboarding Program: 1 ½ hour

The Intro to Kiteboarding is the fastest, easiest and safest way to discover the Kiteboarding world. During this lesson you will have fun learning the basics of flying a trainer kite in the “wind window” and the “power zone.” This 1 ½ hour lesson includes full equipment and instruction with our trainer kites. Now that you are hooked, we will credit the intro to the Full Kiteboarding Program!!!!
Full Intro Kiteboarding Program (IKO Level 1)

Extend your territory !!!
The Full Intro Kiteboarding Program is the first step into the kiteboarding world. This 4 hour introductory course begins with a complete explanation of the principles of the “wind window.” During this lesson, you will have fun learning to pilot a trainer kite in the “power zone” on land. After demonstrating the required skills, it is time to be introduced to the four-line inflatable kite. Here, you will learn how to set the equipment, the bar and its safety mechanisms, how to launch and land the kite, and techniques in piloting the kite. Now, you will start to experience the power of a four-line kite. After this course, you can choose how many hours of instruction you will need to obtain extreme control of the kite and start riding.
Kiteboarding Program (IKO Level 1&2)

The 6-hour Kiteboarding Program is 2-day course which includes the Full Intro to Kiteboarding Program and a 2-hour instruction package. When you take the two programs together you receive a discount. The goal of the Full Kiteboarding Program is use the theory and skills learned in the full intro Kiteboarding Program to advance your control of the four-line kite. Here, you will learn to pilot the kite while on land and in the water. During the water instruction, you will learn how to use the power of the kite to propel yourself through the water known as a “body drag.” You will then learn the piloting skills needed to start getting on the board.
