La Casa de las Mariposas
Our butterfly has two sections: the first is an open garden where we naturally attracted butterflies, here you will find some of the more than 500 species that inhabit this area, as the incredible Blue Morpho or papilla, depending on the season year. The second section is a closed greenhouse with controlled conditions, where generally we have over 10 different native species.
In the course appreciated varieties of orchids, wild flowers and exotic plants also learn to identify medicinal plants Maya.
In The Butterfly House visitors seek to raise awareness about the incredible and important part of every living thing in nature, that is why our project promotes conservation of natural resources of our region and our entire planet.
